Corrosion and concrete deterioration are predictable, and they are far cheaper to manage than to ignore. Estimates put national spending on corrosion at around three percent of GDP, and most of that is avoidable through maintenance rather than replacement.
The economics are usually clear once an asset is assessed. Recoating a structure costs a fraction of replacing it. Repairing spalled concrete and protecting the surface costs a fraction of rebuilding the element. The difficulty is that deterioration is invisible until it is advanced, so the work gets deferred until it becomes urgent and expensive.
That is why we offer condition assessment and specification as services in their own right, not only application. An asset owner who knows what condition their assets are in can plan maintenance to a budget rather than reacting to a failure.
Coatings, concrete repair and access all sit under one team here, so an asset needing more than one of them does not need more than one contractor. We take on work at any scale, from a single tank or car park deck through to multi-year programmes.
