Cassidy Construction is carrying out structural strengthening work to the Hobson Street Substation in Auckland. As part of the contract the suspended concrete floor slabs and a block wall need to be reinforced with (FRP).

Cassidy engaged Cake to carry out the work using the Mapewrap C Uni-AX System which is a high strength uni-directional continuous carbon fibre with a high modulus of elasticity.

The project is well under way and we are looking forward to completing another successful project with Cassidy.
