Cake Commercial has been engaged by Cassidy Construction to carry out (FRP) carbon fibre structural strengthening work to the Level 1 and 2 Concrete Floor Slabs of the Existing Hobson Street Substation.

The work Involves:

· Recessing the floor slab by 20mm locally

· Making sure the recess area is smooth and free of any sharp edges that can damage the FRP

· Application is then being carried out by installing Mapewrap C Uni-AX 600/30 Carbon Fibre inside the slab recesses in different locations

The estimated project duration is two months
