Strengthening of existing building to 80% NBS (New Building Standard) in support of architectural alterations.

Cake Commercial has been engaged by the client to carry out structural strengthening work to the Internal Columns of Level 4.

The work Involves increasing the existing column size by 75mm, it is done by:

- Removing plaster and preparation of the existing column faces

- Installation of additional Dowell bars, stirrups, and vertical reinforcing above and below level 4 slab

- Installation of formwork

- Pouring High strength Micro-Concrete to form new column

The estimated project duration is two months.
