Cake are Employee Experience Finalists!

Cake are proud to announce that we have been judged as finalists for this years Humankind Employee Experience Awards!

This year Cake took part in the Humankind Employee Experience Awards programme.

The programme is designed to introduce new ways of understanding what it’s like to work for your organisation, and has involved employee surveys and interviews to help gain valuable insights about the current employee experience at Cake, and how it can be improved.

We’re proud to say that Cake are finalists for this years Humankind Employee Experience Awards!

The judging considered both the survey results and insights gained from individual employee interviews,and shows that when compared to other organisations, the experience here at Cake really does measure up.

We’ve always believed that our people are our most valuable asset, and as our business continues to grow across the country, we needed an effective way to listen to what everyone has to say.

This made it an easy decision to get involved with Humankind, and were proud that 94%of Cake employees participated in the Employee Experience Survey.

While we scored highly across the board, we're very proud of our Engagement score.

We've been told that our score is considered to be very good, and means that a majority of the team are inspired to help Cake succeed; feel proud to be a part of Cake; and would recommend Cake as a place to work.

Deeper insights about the different sorts of experiences people have at Cake across our divisions were hugely valuable, and give us clarity as to whats important to everyone throughout the company.

We found that continuing our strong focus on safety and quality, and continuing to invest in out team through training and upskilling are hugely important. we know that as we continue to grow, it's also important that we find ways to keep everyone feeling connected; everyone wants to know whats going on across the company, and we all want to retain the Cake Culture.

We've already taken feedback on board and are beginning to implement improvements to our communications channels and are looking to strengthen our leadership development training programmes to better equip our supervisors.

All in all, it's a great achievement for us to be judged a finalist. it means that our emphasis on our Values is resonating across the company and helping to shape a positive employee experience.
